Reciprocating gas compressors move and recover gases with piston-driven, gas-tight compression — the technology behind liquefied gas transfer and vapor recovery. In LPG service, the compressor pushes vapor into one vessel to move liquid to another, then reverses to recover the remaining vapor, capturing product that would otherwise be vented or lost.
